| I have been a sculptor full time since 1989, and live in downtown Los Angeles at the Brewery artist community. You may have seen my work at art galleries, museums, in books and magazines, and countless times on TV and in movies. Bruce Gray's contemporary and abstract modern metal sculptures and paintings have been displayed as part of group or solo art exhibitions at many Art Galleries and Art Museums from Santa Monica to Soho and abroad. The Los Angeles sculptor and painter is also well known for his kinetic sculptures which include mobiles, amazing gravity defying suspended super power magnet sculptures, and rolling ball sculptures. Bruce's artworks are part of over 1100 private and corporate art collections worldwide, and have appeared in hundreds of movies, TV shows, music videos, and commercials. Bruce’s clients include Madonna, Austin Powers, NYPD Blue, Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, Six Feet Under, Meet the Fockers, Rush Hour, Starship Troopers, Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, A&M Records, Gene Simmons, Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, IBM, CBS, Mc Donald’s, Microsoft, Honda, Sears, Pontiac, Edwards Air Force Base, Little Rock National Airport, Children’s Hospital Boston, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Vanderbilt University, LA County Museum of Art, and two of Bruce’s kinetic sculptures have been acquired for the permanent collection at The Rolling Ball Museum in Seoul, Korea. I would like to invite you to watch my new short 3 minute film titled "My World: 1.0" about my sculptures. This is my first attempt at making a film, and this project will be upgraded and added to in the future to become My World: 1.1 etc. In this version 1.0, other than the plasma flames in the opening, the entire thing is done in individual photographs pieced together. I hope you like it! You can see this at: [link] |
